The treatment involves just five small injections on each side of the face, using a very fine needle to deliver hyaluronic acid into the superficial layers of the skin. Patients often describe the sensation as a mild pinch or slight stinging, which lasts only a few seconds at each injection point.

There is minimal downtime, and any redness, swelling, or tenderness at the injection sites usually resolves within 24 hours.

The procedure itself takes no more than 5-10 minutes. However a thorough medical consultation is required prior to this to ensure this is the right treatment for you.

You may start to notice improved skin hydration and radiance within 5 to 7 days after your first Profhilo® treatment. However, the most visible results—such as firmer, smoother, and more elastic skin—typically develop around 4 weeks after the second session, as collagen and elastin production is gradually stimulated.

Results continue to improve over the following weeks, with skin appearing plumper, more refreshed, and naturally rejuvenated. For optimal, long-lasting benefits, we recommend two treatments spaced one month apart.

Profhilo® results typically last around 6 to 9 months, depending on your age, skin condition, and lifestyle factors such as sun exposure and skincare routine. As the treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production, your skin continues to improve in texture, elasticity, and hydration over time.

To maintain long-term benefits, we recommend a maintenance treatment every 6 months.
