Nose to Mouth Lines

Indentation lines running from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth, also known as nasolabial folds, are present to some degree in everyone.

Nasolabial folds are caused by a loss of deep fat and muscle in the mid-face as well as loss of skin elasticity, leading to this “fold”.

Although they can be present at any age, these folds tend to become more prominent as we get older.  Additional factors such as sun exposure, smoking, poor diet or drastic weight loss can aggravate the appearance of these lines as well.

Treatments which can help with this concern include:

  • Medical microneedling
  • Morpheus 8
  • Dermal fillers

Dermal Fillers

As we age, natural facial volume loss can lead to a tired, sunken appearance and the development of static lines and wrinkles—those visible even when the face is at rest.
